We are in a modernized world of many conflicts around us, everyday is the stormy day around us, every moment is a struggle to each of us fighting for truth, life, peace..etc; but it rested in my heart this morning that great is the One who called us into His glory for He is faithful to carry His mandate and to glorify His holy name through us, The One who calls you is faithful! 1Thessalonians 5:24. As we chanel ourselves on this journey of life, today may we be found standing in these grounds which is Faith, Hope and Love. But the greatest of these is Love. 1Corinthians13:13
Hope- its strength is the strength of the person’s desire, and us the confident expectation of what God has promised and its strength is in His faithfulness. When we choose to stand upon the rock of Hope we are forever being revived with the faithfulness of God. Hope is the proper response to the promises of God, Hope in God does not mean crossing fingers but it simple says ‘Rest knowing the One who had called you surely is faithful to keep make it happen for you in His glory!
Faith- It is an assurence that the things revealed and promised in the Word of God are true, even though unseen but it gives the believer a conviction that what he expects in faith, it will come to pass. Above all it is the basic ingredient to begin a relation with God. Faith is one of two trains track we need to safely make it to our destination with what we believe in which is salvation in Christ Jesus. Faith goes together with belief, our focus is on faith today. For without faith we unable to please God!
Love- God our Father is love undeniable truth to settle on. Love has alot to do with emotion of unconditional partiality, which is chore of Christianity. Love is all consuming, empowering and lives in each of us. When the person loves that means that person has come to understand, received revelation of who is God and obeying God’s commandments. Love is an affection of the mind excited by beauty and worth of any kind, or by qualities of an object which communicate pleasure, sensual or intellectual. It is opposed to hatred. Love is patient, kind and does not envy, boast and is not proud, but it always protects, trusts, always hopes and perseveres-1Corinthians13:4-7!
God loves you dearly and in His heart He wishes Soo much for you to stand in these grounds and hold on unto His promises for surely they are to come upon your life. Let us together stand in these three (Faith, Hope and Love) to see positive change around us, for love never fails and it has never failed even before not now, not tomorrow or neither forever it will not fail!
